Passport Information
If you are a citizen of Grenada, you may apply for a passport through the Consulate General of Grenada in Toronto. Please note the following:
- All passports are issued by the Immigration Officer in Grenada.
- Passports may be regularly processed within 3 to 4 weeks.
- For an additional cost of $150 (CAD), processing may be expedited within 2 weeks.
- Passports are valid for 5 years from the date of issuance.
- Read the notes to each application form carefully, complete the application and provide all supporting documentation as instructed in the notes.
- If your passport has been lost, damaged or stolen and you urgently need to travel, you may apply for an Emergency Travel Document by contacting the Consulate General of Grenada in Toronto.
- Most importantly, do not wait until your passport is expired. Submit your application at least eight (8) weeks before your planned travel date, and always ensure that you have more than six months of valid time left on your passport before you visit a foreign country.
